I’m PRICELESS!

I know that from being a foster child and adopted through Christian Heritage. I know that I’m loved by God and my parents and siblings. They make me feel safe and wanted, and they give me quality time, so I feel like I really matter.

Because of everything they have done for me, I’m changed.

I’m really confident now. I see myself as a good leader, and I’m looking forward to my future.

I became involved with Beyond Prison about 4 years ago after my husband completed the three Destination…Dad classes. He was taught how to communicate and strengthen his relationship with our daughter and me even though the circumstances are hard.

It has made a huge impact in our lives and we are beyond thankful for all Christian Heritage has done for us. From the monthly daddy visits, father-daughter dances, and events the staff organizes for us, like pool parties and Christmas parties, we feel like we are a part of a big family.

I would definitely recommend this program to anyone who is going through the same situation.

It was the fall of 2021 when I called Christian Heritage. I had only been home for one year from my last treatment center, and I realized that I had no clue how to raise my kids. I had spent my teenage years in and out of out-of-home placements.

CH was the last place I wanted to call because it had “Christian” in the name. I had experienced a lot of negative things in the church I was raised in.

But I am so grateful I made that call!

Today, I have support and encouragement from the whole Families Together team and one of the host homes my kids went to. In fact, we still text and grab coffee together when our crazy schedules allow.

Today, I know that I am not doing this on my own and that I have the support I need to break generational trauma and give my kids a better foundation to be happy and productive adults.

It truly takes a village, and I am grateful that CH is one part of my village.
