Hope for the Journey Conference

The Hope for the Journey Conference is an all-day training intensive (9:00am-5:00pm) designed to encourage and equip you in effectively meeting the everyday needs of children and teens impacted by trauma, specifically those from at-risk/foster care/adoption experiences, through teaching, resources, and practical application.

TBRI Caregiver Training

TBRI Caregiver Training is an intensive, 24-hr course, broken down into four sessions, each six hours long. You do not have to attend all four days, but we do ask that if you attend one day, you are present for the entire day. Please bring lunch with you (we will have a microwave and fridge available). CH will provide water and snacks.

Training Night

We offer bi-monthly Training Nights that provide a space for families to connect and earn 2 hours of training credit each session. Depending on the month, these are offered in-person with childcare or online. All CH families serving vulnerable children are welcome!

CPR Skills Training

Open to any Christian Heritage families. The course will be Blended Learning style, meaning you will do part of it online prior to coming in-person to practice your skills. Each person wishing to attend must sign up using their own, unique email address. You will receive an “Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED” certificate post training, as well as 5 hours of training credit.

Foster Care Training

TIPS-MAPP is the approved training module for foster parents in the State of Nebraska. The program is 10 weeks long and involves weekly 3-hour classes, homework, licensing paperwork, and two in-home consultations. Classes are held via Zoom except for the final week which is in-person.
