Foster Care Training

TIPS-MAPP is the approved training module for foster parents in the State of Nebraska. The program is 10 weeks long and involves weekly 3-hour classes, homework, licensing paperwork, and two in-home consultations. Classes are held via Zoom except for the final week which is in-person.

We offer bi-monthly Training Nights that provide a space for families to connect and earn 2 hours of training credit each session. Depending on the month, these are offered in-person with childcare or online. All CH families serving vulnerable children are welcome!

Families Together is our prevention program that helps vulnerable families avoid entering the foster care system. In this training, you’ll be prepared to serve as a Host Home, Mentor, or a part of the Care Community at your church.ย
